The chatter of civilians finding their ways home filled Miley's ears. Along the sidewalks were the anxious children hurrying home for dinner and the roads housed car after car working their way through rush hour. Miley wrapped her arms around her shaking body in attempt to keep herself warm as she continued to weave through the ignorant townspeople. "Look Fran! It's that Cyrus girl; poor girl whored herself around. God sure got her back." An older woman whispered into her friend's ear, giggling as she did so. "I heard about her. That Hemsworth boy sure screwed up; I mean he had a football scholarship to UCLA didn't he?" Her maniacal laugh ran through Miley's ears until she found herself alone. Thinking back to the radio this morning, Miley shivered. The forecast had been right; windy with a chance of rain. Small droplets of water began to pelt Miley's body as she looked around for some type of shelter. With a stroke of luck, her tired aqua eyes met a fluttering diner sign. Her breath hitched as she hurried over and into the building. She sighed in relief once feeling the heat. "Can I help you sweetie? We close in twenty minutes." A curly-haired brunette asked as she approached Miley. Her hair was up in a bun and she wore a pair of corduroys and an ivory sweater. Miley could see a hint of wrinkles on her forehead, but the woman couldn't be over 50. Shifting between the empty tables and spotless floors, Miley forced herself to look at the woman.
