Fangtasia is a popular vampire bar owned by Eric Northman, and, in part, by Pam and Chow. It was presumably opened after the Great Revelation and serves as a hangout for vampires and "Fangbangers". Fangtasia is a big open plan bar with many tables and a few small stages for vampire dancers. Its bar is fully stocked in order to cater to its human clientele. Due to Eric's status among vampires as Sheriff of Area 5, he has a throne-like seat near the back of the bar where humans may offer themselves to him. There are various back rooms in Fangtasia, including an office for Eric, coffins for the owners and a secret safebox hiddened for the money. Below the club is a dungeon-like basement in which Eric keeps humans who have in some way wronged the Area 5 vampire community, as is his duty as sheriff. Lafayette Reynolds was one person imprisoned there after being kidnapped as punishment for dealing "V" and tortured on the famous "dungeon wheel". How to Build a Pub Table and Stools, Part 4: Stool Bases and Finish
How to Build a Pub Table and Stools, Part 4: Stool Bases and Finish Video Clips. Duration : 2.52 Mins.
The stools are almost complete and its time to add the finishing touches. First build the table stool bases. These stools are made up of the seat, four legs, four aprons and four rungs. You will want to cut the legs to length on the miter saw, then lay out and drill 1" diameter holes for the long and short rungs. Next, you will cut the aprons. Cut the long and short aprons to shape with a jigsaw. Then add pocket holes at the end and center. Attach all together with pocket hole screws. Finally, cut the dowels for the long and short rungs 1/4 inch longer than the length provided to allow for sanding the rungs flush after assembly. Now it is time for the stool assembly. Attach the long and short aprons to the stool legs with glue and pocket hole screws. Then apply glue around the circumference on the ends of the long and short rungs, and insert them in the holes in the stool legs. Secure the rungs with nails. Lastly, attach the seat assemblies to the stool base assemblies with glue and pocket hole screws. The final steps to this project are adding any finishing touches. Fill all holes with wood filler and then sand smooth. Prime and paint the leg assemblies. Stain the table and seat tops but paints the legs, however you can paint or stain to your taste. Don't forget to apply a coat of polyurethane to the pub table and stools afterward. Finish your project by attaching furniture glides to the bottom of each foot. For this rustic pub table we took our hand peeled northern white cedar logs and peeled them down a bit further. We did the same for a couple of the swivel log bar stools. For the half log bar stools you see later on in the video we used our standard hand peeled logs and finished the stools in a clear finish.
